Not what I wanted!

Im looking for something that will provide calorie counts!!! This is worthless!!!! Would like a credit!!!!

Great App

Its a great app for simple portion tracking. Instructions would help. It took me forever to find how to edit "yesterday" to add my midnight snack.

Love It!!!!!

I always use this App. Its a good tracker and easy to use. Good visual. I really keep track of my water intake, carbs and desert. I stopped using it once thinking I could control my eating without it, but I was wrong. I started using it again and now I cant stop. I highly recommend it and the best feature is its easy to use.

Just what I needed

This app is the perfect tracker for me. The simplicity ensures that I use it. Very happy.

Frustrating

I bought this because a health coach recommended it. I find it a real disappointment. Not all of the icons are clear to me. I was trying to figure out what the bottle was (olive oil? Beer? Something else?). I touched it to get more info. It said I ingested whatever it is. I tried to undo it, but there is no undo. What if the bus hits a pothole while you are entering data? The scope and purpose of the tracking wasnt clear to me before getting it. It isnt calories. It isnt actually foods. It is number of servings per day by food categories. Broad categories. Very broad. For my purposes, this is useless, and worse than useless.

Suggestion

It would be awesome if you could search a food that you ate in order to determine the correct portion size and food group. For example I had a granola bar, and I wasnt sure if that counted as a grain or nut or both. Also I had raisins. Are they a fruit? A search option to find the info for the food would be great!!

Cannot customize goals

Overall this app is good. It makes it easy to track your food while on the go so you do not have to carry around papers. The one downside is that you can not put your goals as one-half. So if you need two and a half servings of something you have to pick two or three so you will be under or over for the day.

Very limited and restricted. Not worth the money.

I would not recommend this application because of its extremely limited feature set. I think even for $2, its a rip off.

Great

This is what I wanted. Most Exchanges Apps were for putting in foods and having it tell you what the exchanges would be. I just wanted a simple way to keep track of how many of each groups I ate. Only improvement would be if you could customize by adding often eaten foods. Like I eat protein bars and count them as 1 fruit, 1 protein and 1/2 a bread. Be nice if I could save that formula in a list and only push one button to enter. The person who says you cant delete is wrong. Under Settings, you can Clear but you have to clear the whole day (or week). It would be nice to have a "Clear last entry" option.

Simple and easy to use

Perfectly matches what I need without making me count calories! It would be helpful to have a notes section for each day incase I wanted to write something about the day down

Disappointment

This is so simplistic, you might as well just be keeping track on paper. Theres no detailed information about what youre eating--just large food groups, and all you do is click a button for each serving of food type. Exactly like making hash marks on paper. I was looking for something that would tell me how much protein Im getting, and would let me track every item I eat. This is NOT that app! (If there is such an app, Id like to know about it!)

Wish I could sync devices

App is well designed. Just what I was looking for in a simple water and diet tracker. Custom fields allow me to add fitness tracking too. Only thing missing is syncing data between iPhone and iPad. A premium ($$) version that could sync devices would make this a 5-star app.

Quick and easy. Perfect especially for the DASH diet which i just started. Note to other reviewers: you can add custom foods via Settings - I just added one ("nuts") and it appears on the second screen of food icons. Swipe to see it.

Dont waste your money!

Love it!

I love it. Its easy to use. Would love to see a comments field added to each day so Id be able to comment on eating behaviors. Also would be nice for the date to return to current after changing the date to view previous days data. Right now if I change the date to 1/20 when the current date is the 25th, selecting the date icon in the bottom menu does not return the date to the current date.

So simple and great

I like to track food, but find I only do it at times. I get frustrated when what I eat cant be found, or its a "mixed" food. With this, I dont need all that, but I can see if Im eating correctly. It sets up easily, gives you the amounts to be eaten to count as a portion. Out of simplicity, it serves a purpose. I love the app.

Best app for my approach to weight loss

I appreciate an app that lets me track nutrition. I have altered the goals and the categories to fit my personal goals. My suggestion would be to provide a way to make comments to myself to help me understand my weaknesses and strengths and use them to improve. (What works, what doesnt, triggers, etc.). Thank you for the best app Ive found. I like simplicity rather than complicated formulas.

Exactly what I needed!

This is absolutely perfect. Lets you track what you eat by portions and you can add more categories. The interface is brilliant!

Needs to separate foods

This lumps good foods with bad foods and counts it as one serving. For instance, fish and red meat are treated equally. Good fats such as olives, avocados, and nuts are lumped with bad animal fats.
